CONSTRUCTIVE GEOGRAPHY AND RATIONAL USE OF NATURAL RESOURCES

The scientific journal "Constructive geography and rational use of natural resources" highlights original research on various aspects of theory and practice in the field of geographic sciences, geographic education, and related fields of science, providing open access to articles through this platform. The works published in the journal are intended for teachers, scientists and students specializing in relevant or related fields of science.

Number 2 of the third issue (2023) is devoted to the study of the natural recreational and tourist potential of the regions of Ukraine and territories of the Nature Conservation Fund, territories of communities, etc. in order to reveal tourist attractiveness, promote a healthy lifestyle and disseminate knowledge among students, as well as to the development of educational school excursions and hikes. The issue contains an analysis of the concept of "geological tourism", the concepts of a geological natural monument and geological diversity. The geological outline of the studied continent is considered and examples of geological sites in South America that can be used as geotourism sites are given, as well as their descriptions. Separately, the issue draws attention to the importance of geographical knowledge as the basis of patriotism, the justification of the place of geography in the structure of related sciences, and shows the role of geographical competence in understanding global challenges using specific examples.
