Annotation.
By studying local aspects, local history helps reveal the unique features and traditions of each region, enriching the understanding of its past and present. While tours provide an opportunity to immerse yourself in the history, culture and nature of a particular region through a personal interactive experience. The article examines the importance of local history, examines its history and current stage of development. Various classifications of excursions and their forms of conduct are outlined. Special emphasis is placed on the importance of educational and local history excursions for students. The organizational requirements for conducting student excursions were also considered, including the selection of objects and the development of an educational and local history excursion entitled «Natural and cultural heritage of Bilotserkivshyna».
