Analysis of the agricultural landscapes based on UAV survey materials

Annotation. This article analyzes the state of the agricultural landscapes of Ukraine. It describes negative factors that affect the components of the agricultural landscape, lead to their depletion, pollution and degradation, as well as reduce the quantity and quality of products. The publication considers the advantages of using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) for agromonitoring purposes. It also features the main stages and requirements for the implementation of surveys from UAV to obtain the materials which are necessary for the analysis of the agricultural landscapes state. It demonstrates the feasibility of using the NDVI index to assess the state of vegetation. Especially, with the help of Pix4D Mapper software, the multispectral images were processed to obtain the NDVI values, which became the basis for creating a raster model of the vegetation index for the agro-landscape area. The publication offers a solution to achieve optimization of agricultural landscapes of the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region.

Landscape and recreational potential of NPP «Oleshkiv Sands» for tourism development

Annotation. On the example of NPP «Oleshkivski Pisky» modern landscape complexes are considered, which, at the moment, act as a potential resource for tourism development within the Kherson region. The recreational landscape of this park can be called mosaic, because it combines exceptional dry steppe landscapes with psammophytic-turf vegetation, as well as wetlands and meadows. This paper presents the functional zoning of the NNP territory, which is generally developed in accordance with the law, as well as the main objectives of certain activities within the NNP. In particular, a total of 45% is allocated for the areas that are key for the analysis of recreational leisure within the park, namely the area of stationary and regulated recreation. Given this indicator, we can say that in this NNP plays an important cultural and educational and environmental and educational functions. As the above zones are created, as a rule, around the protected area to minimize anthropogenic and any interference in the ecosystem. Also based on this analysis, it was found that the park contains artificial forest plantations, which appeared here in the 1950s to delay the spread of sand. However, over the last 30 years, as a result of uncontrolled activities by NNPs from active tourism, the area of sand has «migrated» to forest areas, which is especially noticeable in the northeastern and southwestern parts of the park. It should be noted that the Oleshkiv Sands National Park still maintains the overall ecological balance in the region, as it is included in the Emerald Network as an area of special conservation importance. Much attention is paid to the analysis of the landscape structure of the territory, on the basis of which employees of the NNP and local authorities can develop tourist and recreational activities. Here are various forms of relief such as sand dunes, through which the area is called the largest «desert» in Europe, as well as depressions, hollows blowing within the Burkut area. Thus, thanks to the modern analysis of the state of the landscape within the NNP, the main reasons for its change were clarified, including the activities of tourists and changes in climatic and hydrological regimes.

The didactic testing application «Geographical minimum» for the diagnosis of subject knowledge of students

Annotation. This article presents didactic development for testing the subject knowledge of students of various educational programs in the geographical disciplines of the cycle of geography of continents and oceans. Qualitatively new ways of forming spatial thinking in students are information and communication tools that allow to combine traditional forms of teaching geographical disciplines with state-of-the-art, innovative ways of presenting educational materials and control of students' geographical knowledge. Information and communication technologies allow: to optimize time and efforts, to improve the procedures for checking the studied material in the classroom, objectify and facilitate the assessment of knowledge and skills in the study of geographically oriented subjects. In the case of distance education, automated test software applications generally become the main means of monitoring and evaluation. It should also be noted that automated test programs use the capabilities of network and multimedia technologies, which affects the efficiency of the survey procedure and visual clarity of the tasks in test questions. The software didactic application is convenient and easy to use and gives complete autonomy in testing knowledge of the course of geography of continents and oceans. The didactic testing application «Geographical minimum» is a simple technology that does not require a thorough knowledge of computer programs, and which any teacher, if desired and technically able, can begin to use in their teaching.

Possibilities for the development of ecotourism on the territory of Dermansko-Ostrozky national nature park

Annotation. Anthropogenic impact on the environment is growing every year and is becoming more negative. There are almost no clean (unpolluted) places or "untouched" nature left on our planet. At the same time, every year the number of people willing to relax in the bosom of pure nature grows. It is possible to find "such nature" either in hard-to-reach and not very comfortable places, or by visiting the objects of the nature reserve fund. Visiting nature reserves should be considered an ecotourism activity, so-called "ecotourism". For the first time about ecological tourism as a type of activity began to talk in the 80-90s of last century. Of all the types of nature reserves, the most suitable for engaging in recreational and tourist activities are national nature parks. Ukraine has significant potential for the development of ecological tourism - 53 national nature parks have been created in all natural areas of the country. One of the main problems in the development of ecological tourism is the even distribution of visitors to the NNP throughout the year. The main part of tourist flows falls on May-September, and the rest of the period is almost not visited. The Dermansko-Ostroh NNP, established in 2009 in Rivne region, was chosen for the study. This park is represented mainly by landscapes of the Polissya type, although very susceptible to anthropogenic influence in the XX century. Analyzing the natural potential of Dermano-Ostroh Park, it should be noted that ecotourism activities can be carried out almost all year round by developing such subspecies of ectorism as phyto-, zoo-, ornithoecotourism in combination with active forms of tourism.

International cooperation in the field of tourism between Ukraine and Estonia: current status and development prospects

Annotation. The article is devoted to the current relations between Ukraine and Estonia in the field of tourism, which is an important tool of diplomatic cooperation in the modern world. In studying this issue, the main focus was on a detailed analysis of tourist destinations and Ukrainian territories attractive to Estonian tourists. As a result, it was found that there are favorable conditions for cooperation between the countries that were formerly part of the USSR and are now characterized by a significant number of agreements. Therefore, interstate agreements are the basis for the development of not only business but also mass tourism. Among other things, the article described the current situation with travel companies that provide organized tour services from Estonia to Ukraine. The study of open sources of information on major air, rail and bus operators has led to the formation of major transport companies. At present, the study of the issue has shown that the exchange and cooperation in the field of tourism between the countries is insufficient. However, the formed recommendations can significantly improve the tourist image of Ukraine for Estonian tourists. In particular, to promote the Ukrainian tourist product, it was proposed to emphasize the gastronomic, health and sports areas and show a wide range of resources for different types of recreation. Demonstrate not only the marine resources of Ukraine, but also the possibility of beach leisure on rivers, lakes and thermal waters. The publication highlighted Ukraine as a competitive country that follows the latest trends, including the COVID-19 pandemic and guarantees the complete safety of tourists with the sign Safe Travels Stamp.

Social networks as a means of distributing geographical information (for the example of cultural and cognitive tourism in the Odessa region)

Annotation. This article analyzes the possibilities of social networks Facebook and Instagram to disseminate information about cultural tourism in the Odessa region. The most unique and aesthetically pleasing objects have been identified, on the basis of which a rating list has been developed, presented in the form of separate posts on its own channel on the social network Instagram. The main goal was to analyze the results of one week of content existence and determine the degree of interest of the people of Ukraine in the objects of historical and cultural heritage. Methods of monitoring and analysis of information were used. The systematization method was also used during the creation of the channel. The development of social networks and the ease with which they disseminate information, makes the study relevant in terms of raising user awareness of objects of recreational value. This work can stimulate the further development of similar studies on other types of tourism in the Odessa region
