Annotation.The article analyzes the current state and prospects for the development of the recreational potential of the Educational and Scientific Base «Yasinya» of the Faculty of Geography at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. A retrospective overview of the base’s history is presented – from the «Apšynets» forestry of the early 20th century to the modern educational center. Based on archival materials, open sources, and field research, the article characterizes the natural and geographical conditions of the Yasinya territorial community, including the features of relief, climate, hydrography, and biodiversity, which serve as a foundation for tourism development. Particular attention is paid to the practical aspects of using the region’s recreational resources. The article provides a detailed description and analysis of the challenging one-day tourist route «Seven Peaks and Three Lakes», which covers key sites of the Svydovets Range (Mount Vorozheska, Mount Hereshaska, high-mountain lakes, etc.). The expediency of transforming the base from an exclusively educational site for student field practice into a full-fledged center for active recreation, ecological, and educational tourism accessible to a wide range of visitors is substantiated.
